NDIS

Having a family member living with dementia instilled a strong desire in me to give back and support others in similar situations.

The NDIS, a scheme that has been a great source of support for my family, now aids over 500,000 Australians with disabilities, ensuring they can access the services and assistance they need. In my role as multimedia manager, I was instrumental in setting up essential processes for creative and paid media to effectively convey these vital messages to thousands of Australians seeking support.

I led various content initiatives that had a profound impact. One significant achievement was delivering a new website, creating an accessible and user-friendly platform for individuals seeking NDIS assistance.

Additionally, I played a key role in establishing the organisation's paid media processes, effectively reaching those in need and spreading awareness about available support services.

A crucial part of our efforts involved launching a self-management campaign, empowering thousands of people to take control of their own funding. This decreased the burden on NDIS staff and resources while providing individuals with greater independence and autonomy.

To ensure effective and inclusive communication, I implemented production guidelines and worked closely with our team to implement accessibility frameworks for digital content. Through these efforts, we delivered compelling voiceovers and produced multiple content outputs, leading to increased engagement and growth across all digital channels.
