AFL MEDIA
My time at the AFL proved to be a baptism of fire, but it also taught me the invaluable importance of a well-executed distribution plan.
During the 2021 season, I drove new commercial content opportunities and managed partner activations for the AFL's media network. I worked closely with several internal departments and external partners to identify, develop, and deliver commercial opportunities, including branded content campaigns, marketing AFL products and events, and managing direct partnerships with social platforms.
My contributions led to the generation of millions of dollars in revenue, and I had the privilege of being part of creating groundbreaking content that was distributed across digital and broadcast mediums.
One of the highlights during that time was the collaboration with powerhouse supermarket brand Coles, where we created the Coles AFL Fan Awards. This initiative allowed thousands of AFL fans to vote for their favourite AFL moments each week and set a benchmark for return revenue distribution for digital content.
